Stacey Solomon Already Takes Christmas Decorations For A ‘New Beginning’



Stacey Solomon took off her Christmas decorations on New Years Day and, with many finding the end of the holiday season sad, the mother-of-four spoke of her excitement for the year ahead.

Documenting when she started putting away her decorations, Stacey, 32, told her 4.9 million followers that she wanted to “start over.”

She wrote: “Sometimes you just need to start over. I know it’s really early for me, but I had to do it.”

“I love decorating for Christmas so much, but there’s something special about putting them away and starting the New Year over again,” Stacey added.

Stacey and the rest of her family were heartbroken this Christmas after her beloved dog Theo died on Boxing Day.

Breaking the news on Instagram, Stacey’s devastating post read: “Sweet Dreams Theo. The best friend we could have wished for. Our hearts are broken. Yesterday at home in our arms we had to say goodnight to our Theo. 11 beautiful years . We were so lucky to love you Pippi and we will never stop My knees have never been so empty.

“I miss you a lot already. My little girl. But oh my God, the memories and the love that you have brought into our lives,” she continued.

With Theo’s death on her mind, Stacey admitted that she didn’t take as many pictures as she would have liked on Christmas, but shared a cute snap that fiancé Joe Swash took of her and her. their newborn daughter, Rose.

In the photo, Stacey beamed as she held her only daughter, while Rose looked adorable in a red dress and floral headband.

In the caption of the photo, Stacey thanked her followers for all their support after the death of his dog.
